I am Claudia Novati,

I am bilingual, and I teach both in English and in Italian.

I am a Voice Coach and an Improv Teacher

I hold an MFA in Voice Studies: Teaching and Coaching from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London, UK).

VOICE

After graduating in both Acting and Literature in Italy, I moved to London to specialize in Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

I have been based in England since 2018, where I teach Voice and Text for Performance in various schools, conservatories and universities (full list available HERE)

At the same time, I coach professionals from both the world of performance and entertainment, and from more academic and corporate contexts (e.g. Google, Meta, NHS, University of West London, “Roma Tre” University).

IMPROVISATION

Since 2022 I have been teaching improv comedy and improvised performance at Hoopla Impro.

I have founded and now co-direct ISL - Improv as a Second Language, a community for improvisers who speak English as a Second, Additional and/or Foreign Language.

I have also founded Londra Italia Impro, an improv course for people based in and around London, who speak English as a First or a Second Language.
